Joshua Nguyen is an audio artist in the DFW metroplex.

With a knack for leadership, organization, and a pocket full of empathy, Joshua was fully involved in band and theatre in high school. Upon acceptance to Baylor University, he found a home in the Baylor Theatre Department, graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology, with an emphasis in Sound Design.

Interships with WaterTower Theatre, Circle Theatre, and overhire with Dallas Theater Center, allowed Joshua to branch into the DFW metroplex—where the large variety of bleeding-edge work in live sound, stage management, and music continue to allure him. Joshua now continues his work in LORT theatres, collegiate productions, and corporate trade shows across the country.

Extremely didactic in approach, Joshua passes along strong live audio fundamentals and industry best-practices to fellow colleagues, technicians, and students that he crosses paths with. Joshua hopes to be part of the next generation of theater educators, making the medium and field more accessible and equitable.
